This layout has two names, depending upon whether we’re running narrow gauge (Sterling) or standard gauge (CNE). It’s a medium-sized layout, about 100 feet long, and the main line is a folded dogbone to extend the run. It has three yards and about twenty buildings.
We’re about two and a half hours SW of Springfield, close to the NY Thruway, about 15 minutes west of the Tappan Zee Bridge. The layout is deadrail, so you’re welcome to run any battery-powered equipment.
